The
Pike Lake and Eastern Hartford Shops is preparing to manufacture a
batch of General Electric narrow gauge switchers. These units are
used on several narrow gauge tourist
railroads. The models will have battery electric drives and full
sound systems. Construction is scheduled to start in the last half
of 2004 with completion by the spring of 2005. Engining
is now under way.
